Limited Capacity exit LAX 5 12 2021

ALERT – May 10, 2021 2:19 PM EST

Dear valued supporter,

Due to heavier than normal volumes exit the LAX market, American Linehaul will be limiting capacity exit these markets on 05/12/2021. Please email capacity@americanlc.com to reserve space for your shipments.

While we appreciate the inconvenience and hardship this may cause, we feel as though we must make these difficult choices in order to preserve the sanctity of our network and preserve the service levels on the shipments already moving within our system.

We also ask that all freight dropped in LAX be tendered after 1600 PST. Please contact capacity@americanlc.com if you need to drop freight prior to 1600.

Peak Season Surcharge Extended

ALERT – Feb 1, 2021 4:45:42 PM EST

Peak Season Surcharge Extended

February 1, 2021

As we all know, the cost of continuing business during the COVID-19 Pandemic has continued to rise. Due to the unpredictability in the market and the consistency of higher truck costs, we find it necessary to extend our Peak Season surcharge past our anticipated end date. This will now be renamed a Capacity Surcharge.
With this in mind, American Linehaul will extend the $5.00 per HWB surcharge until further notice. This not a pernament surcharge and will be relieved once the cost of purchase transportation levels out.
We appreciate your understanding and support through these unprecedented times.

ALERT – Jan 8, 2021 2:26:38 PM EST

American Linehaul LAX Team Member & Family

The American Linehaul family lost a member of it’s LAX Team when David Rubio passed away due to Covid-19 on January 6. He was a local driver in Los Angeles and well-loved by his coworkers. It is said that he was a “teddy bear” and a very vibrant person, with an amazing sense of humor, and one-of-a-kind loud laugh. He will be missed by everyone who’s lives he touched.

Prior to his illness, David had left the country to travel to Mexico to care for his father, David Sr., who passed away from Covid-19 on January 1. It was there that he contracted Covid-19. His daughter, Alizay, who is 12 years old and lives in Los Angeles, also has Covid-19 and is currently hospitalized in Guadalajara on a ventilator.  Their family is raising funds to cover Alizay’s medical bills and her immediate transfer to a more equipped hospital in Guadalajara.

If you are interested in supporting this cause, please use the link provided below. Thank you for your consideration.

Per her Go Fund Me page:
We received some great news from the Rubio family! Alizay’s condition has improved, and she has finally been taken off the ventilator and out of the medically induced coma. She woke up today and was able to spend much needed time with her mom, Patty. We are hoping that Alizay continues to gain strength so she can be moved out of the COVID ward in the coming days.
We are cautiously very very hopeful because we know how strong and courageous Alizay is!
Please keep continuing to send love and light and prayers her way!
Thank you all for your support!

Service to SLC Suspended

January 4, 2021

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective immediately, American Linehaul has seasonally suspended service to Salt Lake City, Utah (SLC). We felt it necessary to remove this destination from our service schedule during the winter months in order to mitigate service failures and unpredicatable costs. Please stand by for more updates when the warmer weather approaches.

Any freight that is currently that is currently in our system will be moved to destination.

Thank you.
